The Democrats are leveraging this push for impeachment already, investigations are being launched by several committees in the House and subpoenas have been sent out. The House has been doing this ever since the Democrats took over in 2018, this is not a new strategy but it does reveal that the Democrats are looking for any and every reason to slow the President down.
