DEMOCRAT Civil War: Pelosi, Schumer Slam Anti-Trump Congresswoman

Think that Republicans have problems between the base and the establishment? Like conservative leader Morton Blackwell once said, “Remember the other side has troubles too.” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) individually rebuked the unhinged Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) for her statements encouraging the public harassment of Trump administration officials.

We know that crazy is not a good look for Democrats, and we see their crazy all the time; the trouble with Rep. Maxine Waters is that the crazy was so obvious that even squishy midterm voters could see it. Democrats have successfully changed the subject since the last time one of their crazies, James Hodgkinson shot up a baseball diamond in Alexandria, Va last year, nearly killing Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.). They seriously need to distance themselves from the hateful antics of the Democrat base, whose public tantrums make the Democrats look bad.

President Trump is trying to illustrate that Maxine Waters is representative of the crazy left, that wants to throw fits in public rather than join with the president to address real problems like immigration. Rep. Steve Scalise, a victim of left-wing political violence, took to Fox News to call for civility.

Trouble is that liberals didn’t get the memo. Pelosi and Schumer are getting push-back from liberals that think harassing public officials is perfectly fine. They don’t care about inciting rage that might lead to violence; they want their tantrums. Crazy ant-Trump liberals are beyond the point of caring if it makes them look bad; it just shows that the Democrat leaders want the anti-Trump left’s enthusiasm in November, but didn’t sign up for the full-crazy program. Either Democrat leaders will get their liberal base to calm down, or they too will become the object of liberal scorn, just like Trump officials.
