President Trump Comes Out Strong In Tuesday Morning Tweet Storm

President Trump started off tweeting early Tuesday morning about the National Football League and ESPN, but also touched on policy issues including healthcare and immigration.

Noting that the NFL gets “massive tax breaks” yet at the same time disrespects the U.S., the president argued the tax law must be changed.

He also commented on ESPN reporter Jemele Hill, who once called the president a “white supremacist.” The network suspended Hill Monday for her second violation of ESPN’s social media policy after she called for a boycott of the Dallas Cowboys’ advertisers because their owner, Jerry Jones, said he will bench any player who takes a knee during the national anthem.

Turning to policy issues, Trump argued that, given their positions on immigration, Democrats don’t care about the safety and security of the United States.
