Memorial Day weekend is upon us and we want to take a moment to recognize our heroes. If you wear a uniform or loves somebody that does, you probably realize that you got an upgrade last year for a commander-in-chief. Barack Obama wasn't keen on those who serve; the words were there, but the sentiment behind them wasn't. While Memorial Day is the occasion were we commemorate those who died in battle to maintain our freedom and safety, we also want to recognize those who serve at home as well. President Trump sure does.
We want to contrast that with Trump's predecessor, whose politics were such that it was never a comfortable fit with service personnel. We have three great examples to illustrate this point, with number 3 being so stark that it's undeniable.
