You can’t fault Sam Wang. Virtually every scientific poll in America had Hillary Clinton knocking off Donald Trump. It seemed so improbable, in fact, that Wang made a bet with CNN. If Donald Trump got more than 240 electoral votes, Wang would eat a bug. 

Wang’s wager was so absurd that you could have excused him for not following through with it. But to his credit, and to our disgust, he’s a man of his word. Kudos to the professor for not backing down. We at AAN salute you!
