Trump Responds To The Las Vegas Tragedy

President Trump called the Las Vegas attack an “act of pure evil” Monday morning, in a somber address to the American people following the mass shooting now considered the deadliest in modern U.S. history.

The attack left at least 50 people dead and more than 400 hospitalized.

The president announced he will visit Las Vegas on Wednesday to meet with law enforcement, first responders and families of victims. He also ordered the flag be flown at half-staff at the White House and other federal buildings to honor those who died.

“It was an act of pure evil,” Trump said.
