President Trump on Tuesday argued that because Democrats have failed to find evidence of Russian collusion, they’ve set their sights on taking him down through sexual harassment allegations.
“Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia – so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met,” he said on Twitter. “FAKE NEWS!”

The tweet comes a day after three women, all of whom accused Trump of sexual misconduct, held a press conference demanding a congressional investigation to hold him accountable.
They also appeared on Megyn Kelly’s NBC show to further discuss their allegations, which had been previously publicized.
