Media Knowingly Spread Lies, As Trump Expose Unraveled

Who is Michael Wolff, the author of the controversial book that depicts President Trump as an inept child? He is a gossip columnist turned political reporter, with documented integrity issues. In a teachable moment, the media is acknowledging those issues, but quoting him chapter and verse.

In an inconsistency so obvious that the Washington Post noticed it, Wolff wrote in the excerpt of his book that was published in the Hollywood Reporter that he allegedly did not know who Speaker John Boehner was; a simple Google search yields dozens of stories documenting their relationship. The Post points to Trump referencing Boehner in a 2011 tweet and highlighted this blatant falsehood. They are still printing Wolff stories.

Axios’ Mike Allen and Jim VandeHei acknowledged Wolff’s unethical reporting, publishing a piece on why they believe a man known for bending the truth, even when it breaks; their piece indicates they don’t care because it reinforces what they believe. Wolff is on record saying he would say anything get the story; in fact, he seems willing to say anything to sell the story, whether it’s factual or not. The media is so desperate for ammunition to use against the President that they simply don’t care about its origin, duds and all.
