Democrats are melting down on national television as the House Intelligence Committee, under Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), led the charge to #ReleaseTheMemo, which he helped write.
President Trump has five days from the vote to decide whether to officially release the memo. Outsiders are confident he will do so, as the memo is said to be profoundly damaging to the partisan Mueller Investigation that has dogged the administration for the past year.
Ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee reacted, calling the vote a “sad day for America”. He reacted further on Twitter:
Committee Republicans JUST voted to declassify their spin “memo” and prohibit release of the Democratic response in what they claimed was “the interests of full transparency.” It was transparent alright – transparently cynical and destructive.

Democrats are sure to continue the partisan attacks against the memo, as five days is enough time in the public relations sphere to discredit the memo as a Republican attack on Democrats. Yet, there were raised eyebrows over the weekend as FBI Director Christopher Wray visited the Capitol to view the memo for himself, and his partisan underling Andrew McCabe stepped down from his position on Monday. Coincidence?
