Alec Baldwin told the Hollywood Reporter that it was “agony” to imitate President Trump. “Every time I do it now, it’s like agony.” President Trump heard of Alec Baldwin’s suffering and proposed a way to alleviate it.
Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!

Baldwin isn’t exactly known for his conservatism, whining that if Trump wins reelection he’ll have to “host a game show in Spain” rather than staying on SNL until 2024. Baldwin claims he’d take anyone over Trump in 2020, “even Mitt Romney.” We’re sure Romney appreciates the endorsement. Trump isn’t without some comedy of his own. Praising the talents of Darrell Hammond, the SNL actor who portrayed Clinton in the 90’s.
President Trump didn’t like Alec Baldwin’s acting much better in 2016, when he wrote in a tweet, “Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks.” Alec Baldwin is ramping up to start a talk show soon, so we’re sure that we’ll see more of his trademark class on display, giving us much to talk about in the days to come.
