Anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok just got some more bad news. After dodging questions while testifying to congress they upped the ante and slapped him with a subpoena.

According to Town Hall:

Disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok, who sent numerous anti-Trump text messages to his mistress and FBI Attorney Lisa Page during the 2016 presidential election, will testify in front of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees on Tuesday, July 10. 

The hearing announcement comes after Strzok was subpoenaed. 

“The Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform will hold a joint hearing on “Oversight of FBI and DOJ Actions Surrounding the 2016 Election: Testimony by FBI Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok.” The House Judiciary Committee today issued a subpoena to Peter Strzok – a former senior official in the FBI’s counterintelligence division – to testify publicly before the Committees regarding FBI and DOJ actions surrounding the 2016 presidential election,” the Committees released in a joint statement.
 
“Last year, the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee announced a joint investigation into decisions made by the Justice Department and FBI in 2016,” the statement continues. “To date, the Committees have interviewed Peter Strzok and several other key witnesses, and have reviewed thousands of documents, including text messages between former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and Mr. Strzok.”

Strzok is most notable for his text messages with his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page. One of the text messages mentioned stopping President Trump. It is going to be interesting to find out to what end he went to in order to ‘stop’ President Trump.
