Pro-Kavanaugh Senator Attacked At Home

A suspicious letter was sent to Senator Susan Collins’ home on Monday prompting a response by law enforcement and the hazmat team. Collins has become an enemy to the left since announcing she would vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh in a historic speech on the Senate floor.

According to The Daily Wire:

On Monday, Fox News reported that a suspicious letter sent to the home of Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) had occasioned the need for a hazmat team to investigate.

Collins engendered the ire of leftists when she voted for the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court; her vote was considered the most crucial vote in the senate, which narrowly passed the confirmation 50-48. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) noted on Twitter that Collins had been viciously targeted:

Collins’ announcement that she was voting for Kavanaugh allowed enough wiggle room so that Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) could vote for him without becoming the swing vote; within minutes of Collins’ announcement, Manchin came forward to vote for Kavanaugh.

It is unclear what the suspicious letter contained but it is being investigated as a credible threat.
