President Trump’s acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney isn’t wasting any time putting priorities in order for the Trump Administration.
According to a report from The Hill, Mulvaney has made “deregulation” a top priority of the administration:
Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney recently told top Trump administration officials during a meeting that their “highest priority” would be deregulation in the coming year, Axios reported Sunday.
A senior official told Axios that when Mulvaney sits down with the president to evaluate the job performances of the Cabinet secretaries, deregulation will be one of the main criteria on their list.
“We knew there was one thing we could do without legislation,” the official told the news outlet.
The Trump administration has successfully removed some regulations put in place by Obama’s administration. Trump has removed some inposed limitations on fracking and eliminated tax penalties on those who don’t carry health insurance under Obamacare to name a few.
