Trump Claims he Will Win Minnesota Because of Omar

President Trump has hit Representative Ilhan Omar with some bad news.

Trump has predicted that he will win Minnesota because of the actions of Representative Omar.

According to The Daily Wire:

President Donald Trump prolonged the feud between himself and the so-called “Squad” by proclaiming he will win Minnesota in the 2020 election in part because of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) anti-Semitic rhetoric.

The president narrowly lost the state of Minnesota in 2016 to his challenger Hillary Clinton. Clinton edged out Trump by less than two points; she obtained only 46.1% of the vote, while Trump won only 44.6%. Interestingly, voter turnout was down roughly two points in the state since the prior presidential election and nearly four points since the 2008 presidential election.

Trump has been involved in an ongoing quarrel with four freshmen congresswomen, collectively referred to as the Squad. The Squad, consisting of Omar, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), has been a recent target of the president for their socialist policy prescriptions and anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric.

However, the Squad has been attributing racial motives to the president’s criticism of the progressive lawmakers, and the media has largely followed suit.

The recent claim by the president could be the clue as to why he ignited the feud between him and the squad. Their increased rhetoric could be what he was hoping for as he heads into the 2020 election.
