President Trump has endorsed the Republican candidate to be Kentucky’s next attorney general.
Daniel Cameron, who used to work for Senator Mitch McConnell, has received the full endorsement of President Trump.
According to Lousiville Courier-Journal:
President Donald Trump tweeted Monday that the Republican candidate for attorney general has his “full and complete endorsement.”
Daniel Cameron, who is running against Greg Stumbo to replace Andy Beshear, is a Louisville lawyer, political newcomer and mostly recently called a “star” of the Republican party by Trump in a tweet Monday.
“He is tough on crime, strong on borders and will fight for our second amendment,” Trump wrote. “Daniel will never let you down.”
The Republican Party has a new STAR, his name is Daniel Cameron (@djaycameron), and he is running for Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Kentucky….

The former staff lawyer for Kentucky senior Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican majority leader, won the Republican primary election for Kentucky attorney general Tuesday, defeating Wil Schroder.
Cameron’s effort looks to have definitely been boosted by securing Trump’s endorsement.
