Former Pro Wrestler Mulls Run Against Trump

Hall of Fame wrestler and former Minnesota Governor Jesse “The Body” Ventura is mulling a 2020 Presidential bid.

On Twitter, he said, “I’ve decided I’m going to test the waters.”

If he runs for President he will do it as a Green Party candidate he noted.

Ventura made a successful run for Minnesota Governor 1998 on the Reform ticket and served until 2003. Prior to that, he served as Mayor of Brooklyn Park, MN.

During his political career, Ventura was critical of the Bush-era foreign policy and considered himself fiscally conservative, yet a social liberal.

In 2016, Ventura mulled running for President under the Libertarian Party banner which is a far cry from the Green Party when it comes to most major policy positions.

FIVE FAST FACTS ABOUT JESSE VENTURA:
