1.) How These Accusations Came About 

On Reddit a user made a post asking for more information on the cabinets listed on Wayfair, they pointed out that the cabinets were extremely high in price and had bizarre names. The user in question stated that she was looking for industrial cabinets for her husband as a gift and found these odd cabinets on the website instead. Another user added to this by pointing out that the names of the cabinets matched the names of young girls who had gone missing. 

Following these accusations, the internet exploded and many were capturing videos and pictures of these bizarre prices and the names. Quickly after this, the “#wayfair” began to trend on Twitter and the company quickly changed the prices of the cabinets and took down some of the listings.
