10.) 300,000 Babies With Alcohol-Related Birth Defects

Joe Biden claimed that 300,000 babies are born with alcohol-related birth defects every year, this was stated while he defended his position of keeping the drinking age at 21. This is incorrect and considering that the drinking age is not a hot button political issue there was no reason to lie about it. There are only a few thousand children born with these defects a year, it’s still unfortunate for these children and their families but there was no reason whatsoever to lie about this.
