The New York Times has published pieces voicing support for the mail-in voting option and they argued that the USPS has the capacity to do so. This is true, the USPS has the capacity to take in mail-in the vote from every voter in the country, however, this does not mean that they have the ability to do so. Numerous reports from test ballots have already shown that ballots get lost or mishandled, the election will be considered fraudulent by both parties when ballots are lost. This is a matter of the USPS’s competency rather than their raw capacity to carry mail.
