The Atlantic published a “bombshell” report about Trump claiming he called American troops who died in battle “losers” and “sucker.”
The article used anonymous sources to verify these claims. Almost immediately 5 people went on record to dispute the claims.
Even a read of John Bolton’s latest book about his time in the administration disputes this claim.
According to The Daily Wire:
A report published by The Atlantic claimed on Thursday that President Donald Trump called American troops who died in battle “losers” and “suckers,” citing anonymous sources. The story is now being strongly disputed by at least five witnesses who were with the president that day and say that the story is nothing short of a fabrication.
The story from the left-wing outlet comes after the president has clawed his way back in the polls in recent weeks, leading JPMorgan’s Marko Kolanovic, PhD, to tell clients this week that they should start preparing for a “potential Trump re-election.” One likely reason Trump has seen a turn around in the polls is the left-wing rioting and looting that has taken place over the course of the summer in Democrat-controlled cities, many of which declined help from the Trump administration to maintain law and order.

However, purported emails from officials that day state that the reason that Trump did not attend the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial was, in fact, due to bad weather.
Furthermore, four officials in the Trump administration who were with the president that day went on record, unlike those who made the allegations against Trump, and directly disputed their account of what happened.

Even Bolton’s book refuted the claim, per The Daily Wire:
Former White House national security adviser John Bolton stated in his memoir that President Trump canceled a visit to Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris over weather, undercutting a key claim in a recent story from The Atlantic that the president scrapped the trip because of the “losers” and “suckers” buried there.
Aisne-Marne holds the graves of nearly 2,300 American soldiers, including hundreds of U.S. Marines that died in the Battle of Belleau Wood in June 1918 during World War I. Trump made plans to visit the war memorial in 2018, marking a century since Belleau Wood, but canceled the visit last-minute over rain and unsafe flying conditions.
Bolton continues:
The press turned canceling the military visit into a story that Trump was afraid of the rain and took glee in pointing out that other world leaders traveled around during the day. Of course, none of them were President of the United States, but the press didn’t understand that rules for US presidents are different from the rules for 190 other leaders who don’t command the world’s greatest military forces.
Some have called the smear a sign of panic on the left.
Anybody who simply accepts what the “media” says today at face value has to be considered about as intelligent as what cows routinely pile up in the meadows they graze.
And if you were to be anywhere in proximity to the writers of such BS (or should it be “CS”?) you’d likely need to hold your nose.
It would be heartless to call a fallen patriot a loser, but when you lose your life you are in fact a loser big time. After all the garbage concerning President Trump I find it hard to accept anything a politician says. Politicians live in their nice political bubble and have no real contact with the real people who put them in office. I would venture to say that every politician we elect to office is not known by a majority of those who voted for him or her. Voters get their ballot and then have to vote for the name on this ballot. Maybe the biggest motivation is the (R) or (D) behind their name. If the person campaigned hard enough to get their name in the public arena then the voter might remember their name and vote for this person. Name recognition got Joe Biden’s name on the ballot. Many people voted for Trump because almost every citizen who watches TV knew who he was, but they knew little of his personal life. I find it hard to vote for any person who used their office to gain personal wealth. Was Obama a multi-millionaire when he ran for office? What about Hillary and Bill Clinton? They became multi-millionaires while in office. Hillary considered herself poor when she had 2 million dollars in her banking account. The average American will never see a Million Dollars unless they win the lottery. I would love to claim I was poor with 2 million in the bank. What is quite clear to every voter is that these voters know nothing about the politician’s character until after they are elected to office. The people got to know Hillary Clinton was a criminal liar who was never prosecuted because of her lies. Lie were not her only crimes. She destroyed her emails, conducted government business on her personal server that was not protected from hackers and she destroyed here phone and other devises that may have contained classified information. A sailor spent time behind bars for simply taking a picture in his submarine and threw that picture in the trash. As of today I could list at least seven politicians who should be behind bars for their crimes or abuse of power. As far as I am concerned the US Citizens are the biggest losers in America.
