The timeline for Amy Coney Barrett:
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham has confirmed that Barrett’s confirmation process will begin October 12th with a day of introductions.
Barrett will then be scrutinized by the Senate Judiciary Committee for two days. The potential Justice will be asked challenging questions from the committee on a range of issues from her judicial philosophy to abortion and quite possibly on her Catholic faith.
October 15th will begin the week-long markup by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Following the markup by the Senate, on October 22nd the committee will report her nomination to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell which will then head to the Republican-majority held Senate for a vote.
As long as the process moves forward without any hiccups Amy Coney Barrett will be confirmed to the Supreme Court before the November election.
