The U.S. is in a manufacturing recession

Harris claimed that America lost in a trade war with China resulting in the loss of over 300,000 manufacturing sector jobs. The VP candidate said, “America lost 300,000 manufacturing jobs… We are in a manufacturing recession because of it.” This is untrue. The sector is actually growing and has been for months.
