The Trump campaign is calling out the “unprovoked violence” seen against Trump supporters across the country. A Trump campaign spokesperson said, “No one should be attacked for peacefully showing their support of the president, and all Americans, regardless of their political affiliation, should be disgusted by this type of unprovoked violence.”

The Trump campaign spokesperson’s comment was prompted after violence erupted during a “Jews for Trump” caravan in New York City on Sunday. A woman was arrested for pepper-spraying a family of seven while they participated in the vehicle caravan, four of them were young children.

Counter-protestors also resorted to throwing rocks at moving vehicles participating in the Trump caravan.

Individuals became so enraged by the patriotic display of support for President Trump that they began punching vehicles.

Counter-protest groups like Antifa participated in the violence against Trump supporters. New York City Antifa even took to Twitter to boast about their involvement in the event.

But incidents of violence have not been contained in New York, protests across the country have erupted in violence after counter-protestor become enraged. In Massachusetts, a 34-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting a Vietnam veteran in his 70s  when he and his wife proudly held up “Veterans for Trump” signs. The woman was apparently so provoked by the signs she felt the need to physically assault the man.

In San Fransisco, Trump supporter Philip Anderson had his front teeth knocked out while holding a pro-Trump “Team Save America” rally. Anderson was sent to the hospital over the injuries. The San Diego Police Department arrested Adora Anderson for the assault and was also charged with mayhem and crime enhancement.
