Biden plans to rejoin the World Health Organization after President Trump pulled the United States from WHO amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Trump pulled the United States from the transnational organization as a means to keep them accountable for missteps taken throughout the pandemic. Biden plans to rejoin WHO on his first day in the office and keep Dr. Fauci as a close advisor and maintain his current post as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
