Georgia Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler ripped GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for failing to provide “transparency, accountability, and accuracy” to the election process after he didn’t release a new list of newly registered voters. The two Republican senators were alarmed by Raffensperger’s actions as threats of ineligible voters attempting to cast ballots in the Georgia run-off election continue. The GA Secretary of State said the senator’s campaign offices “already have the data.”

Multiple organizations are already being investigated by Raffesnperger’s office for seeking to register ineligible voters. Many Democrats have also threatened to move to Georgia in order to vote in the upcoming Senate run-off election to help Democrats gain a majority in the Senate. The move is illegal and those who temporarily move to cast illegal ballots can face jail time and thousands of dollars in fines.

The Daily Wire reports:

The statement from Perdue and Loeffler read:

It’s been one week since the voter registration deadline passed and the secretary of state has failed to compile and release a final list of newly registered voters. This is totally unacceptable – the deadline for new voter registration was Dec. 7, 2020. In-person early voting starts today, and the public remains without a full accounting of who is registered and who may attempt to cast a ballot in the runoff. This lack of transparency needs to be rectified immediately, or the integrity of our elections will remain threatened. Georgians demand transparency, accountability and accuracy in our elections process – and the secretary of state is failing to provide it in a timely manner.

In response, Raffensperger’s office released a statement Tuesday reprimanding the senators and noting that the National Republican Senatorial Committee has confirmed that their campaign offices “have those lists”

“Though I’ve told the Republican Party to stop focusing on me and instead direct their energies to winning the Senate runoffs, clearly they haven’t listened,” said Secretary Raffensperger. “As embarrassing as it is for Sens. Perdue and Loeffler not to know that the data they want is already publicly available from the Secretary of State, it’s even worse that they’re not aware their own campaigns already have the data they’re looking for. Early voting has already started but it’s not too late for them to call their offices and get their campaigns in order.”

An organization founded by failed GA gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and chaired by Democrat Senate challenger Raphael Warnock is currently being investigated by Raffensperger’s office. The organization has allegedly sought to “aggressively” register ineligible or deceased voters to secure control of the Senate.
