Vice President Pence will receive the Pfizer Coronavirus vaccine on Friday in a public event. The President-elect Joe Biden is set to receive the injection next week. Pence will be joined by second lady Karen Pence and Surgeon General Jerome Adams. The vaccine developed by Pfizer was approved for emergency use on Friday with the drug reaching its first recipients on Monday.
The Vice President and chair of the White House Coronavirus Task Force is set to receive the vaccine publicly to help promote the vaccine to Americans. According to the White House, Pence hopes his taking the vaccine will “promote the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and build confidence among the American people.”

I had never had an allergic reaction to anything in my life, Barry, but several years ago I had an anaphylactic reaction to Tylenol 3 (codeine), and prior to that from an IV iodine injection while undergoing some medical tests in the hospital. That is now part of my medical record and I wear a band noting that, if ever undergoing treatment for anything. But I seriously doubt they will stop giving those to people simply because a minute number of people like me, have allergic reactions — nor should they! Unfortunately, all we ever hear are the tiny percentage of BAD reactions i.e. this one nurse, and never a word about the millions of people for whom they ultimately work just fine. But, hey, these days, that’s the liberal media for ya!! And the good news is, of course, it’s a personal choice we can make for ourselves whether to be vaccinated or not. At least for now. He’s already had COVID19. I’ve had measles and my doctor said there was no reason to ever take the vaccine. He should still have immunity at this point.
