Today, Senator Rand Paul introduced a motion on the Senate floor that forced Senators to vote if the impeachment of President Trump aligns with the constitution now that he has left office. Ultimately, the Senate voted 55-45 that the impeachment of Trump is constitutional with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell joining Sen. Paul’s vote. There were five GOP members who voted that Trump’s second impeachment is constitutional.
