Rob Portman
Ohio Senator Rob Portman announced that he will not be seeking re-election in the upcoming midterm election. Sen. Portman cited the divide between parties as a contributing factor in his decision. The news sent shockwaves through the Republican Party. Lindsey Graham reacted to the news on Twitter writing that Portman’s decision will be a “major blow to the Senate as well as the Republican Party.”

Rob is one of the smartest, most sincere members of the Senate that I have ever known.
