Today, impeachment managers filed their pre-trial brief against former president Trump. The brief provides a preview of what arguments they will attempt to make against Trump in the Senate impeachment trial slated to begin next week. However, despite Democrat’s best efforts to paint Trump as a villain many Americans and Republicans believe Trump should and will be acquitted making the whole trial one colossal waste of time and resources.
