Montana’s Democrat Senator Jon Tester is not on board with President Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline. The Democrat argued that the project would not make climate change notably worse and could have continued. Senator Tester has previously stated his support for the project and the jobs it created as long as it was constructed with safety measures in place and respected local property rights.

“In the end, I think it’s a good project,” Tester said during an appearance on CNN. “I believe in climate change, but I also think this one pipeline isn’t going to turn it around, isn’t going to turn our climate around and it’s not going to make it a markedly worse situation.”
Former President Donald Trump championed the Keystone oil pipeline, which was designed to carry about 800,000 barrels of oil per day from Canada to the Texas Gulf Coast. Critics argued the project presented major environmental risks and would run contrary to international efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
Tester has acknowledged that he supports efforts to combat climate change despite his support for the pipeline.
“I still don’t know why this is the tip of the spear,” Tester said last month during a call with residents of Helena, Montana, according to the Independent Record. “There are hundreds if not thousands of pipelines that run across that border and why this is the one people are fired up about, I don’t know.”
President Biden revoked the Keystone XL permit by executive order his first day in office, effectively destroying 11,000 American jobs with the stroke of a pen. The move garnered immediate reactions from the GOP and construction workers across the country.

If that is their point of view, What makes pipeline worse than oil cars being railed south, tankers moving oil across oceans or drilling off shores of US? All is nonsense when coupled with green energy which requires multiple facets of oil derivatives to make those solar/green new deals to work.
We show focus on how much oil is used to make their green new deal viable then stop all oil or build pipeline since their green new deal creates another issue they hadn’t planned on. You know, it’s same with battery powered cars, they require derivatives of oil to produce from battery internal components, body, interior made from derivatives of oil, tires and they aren’t environmentally safe. Batteries can’t dispose of, rebuild or burn. Body parts aren’t recyclable with changing of body molds.

It is quite interesting to hear about “climate change” when it is a known fact that the climate has been in the process of changing since the earth was created. In fact there was more CO2 in the atmosphere and the temperature of the earth was hotter 2,500 years before Christ walked the surface. One must notice that since the earth has not gotten hotter over the past 22 years that the goofballs had to switch to from global warming to climate change. Recently 2 studies, one in Japan and one in Norway totally debunked the theory that CO2 is the culprit. As it turns out the magnetic field of the earth has a serious effect on solar radiation which inturn causes variations in the cloud cover which inturn shields the earth from solar radiation. More clouds causes cooling and less clouds causes warming. The studies concluded that man made CO2 has almost no effect on temperature but it is helping by greening the earth and making crops more plentiful.

As far as environment concern,I’m sure the trains carrying the product are more poluting that a pipe.They are certainly more susceptible to pollution if they have a wreck, plus they use diesel for electric generation to run. But who ,important has investments in the trains, besides the Millionaire?
Cancelling this pipeline does nothing for climate change. Nothing. We still use the same amount of oil. It will continue to be brought in by BNSF railroad cars which is more polluting and not as safe. There were several issues that he kept changing his opinion on, and I’m not sure if it’s because he was trying to kiss up to the voters or if he REALLY couldn’t remember what he had said previously about the same topic. I’ve also noticed that he can speak almost knowledgably AS LONG AS HE’S READING FROM A TELEPROMPTER. But without it, he is lost and avoids answering spontaneous questions from the media or his supporters. It would not surprise me if he will need to step down from his presidency within the next two years. I have worked in nursing homes with patients who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and senile dementia, and how quickly their conditions progress often depends on the care they receive as well as the interactions they have with others. I also believe that Joe Biden should not have been kept in isolation in his basement for the better part of the year preceding the election. He should have been allowed to leave his home more frequently and be able to interact with friends and family members in order to maintain his mental acuity as long as possible. Although I did not support or vote for Mr. Biden in the 2020 election, yet I feel somewhat sorry for him having this medical condition. There will come a day when he may not recognize even his family members. This is the saddest part about having this disease.
Perhaps the person who owns the railway/delivery system that currently transports the oil contributes to the DNC. Follow the money.

Ok. So why doesn’t he write a bill to retain the pipeline and get it passed with enough votes to override a veto? That, after all, is how you reign in an abusive president, isn’t it?

Cancelling the Keystone has nothing to do with the climate change hoax. The bottom line is that it was approved by Donald John Trump.
