Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) sided with Democrats to strip Greene from her committee assignment over her past remarks. The Republican also voted to impeach former President Trump, a move which caused Illinois Republicans to censure him.

This morning the Republican responded to a tweet from Rep. Greene accusing her of making comments to expand her following and fame.
