Lisa Murkowski is on the fence on whether she will ultimately vote to convict the former president on impeachment charges. However, Sen. Murkowski did vote alongside Dems on the constitutionality behind the impeachment trial. Murkowski also blamed Trump for the Capitol violence on Jan. 6th and has supported his resignation.
“My review of it has led me to conclude that it is constitutional in recognizing that impeachment is not solely about removing a president, it is also a matter of political consequence,” Murkowski said.
