RNC Makes Big Donation to Gov. Newsom Recall Effort

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has pledged $250,000 to the California Republican Party to help in the effort to oust California Gov. Gavin Newsom from office. The effort to hold a vote which could kick Newsom out of office is a direct response to his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic in the Golden State.

It was recently reported that the group leading the effort to recall Newsom has reached the threshold of signatures required to demand a vote. However, the group hopes to hit 2 million signatures in the coming weeks to offset the invalid signatures.

The Daily Wire reports:

“Gov. Newsom’s authoritarian measures, blatant overreach and complete mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic have proven that he is woefully unqualified to lead the state of California,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Politico in a statement Thursday. “It is time the people use their constitutional recourse to remove him from power.”

Earlier this week, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki observed that President Joe Biden opposes any efforts to recall Newsom, even as the California governor has refused to use the word “recall” himself in his various appearances, according to Politico.

In order for the recall effort to go before voters, organizers must submit enough signatures to equal 12% of the number of Californians who voted in the last election, and the signatures must be verified by the California Secretary of State’s office. To recall Newsom from office, organizers will need 1.5 million signatures before March 17, 2021.

A spokesperson for the recall campaign plans to update the public on the number of signatures that have been gathered on Friday, according to Fox News Los Angeles reporter Elex Michaelson. Tom Del Beccaro, chair of Rescue California, an organization that has been assisting in the recall effort, has said that the 1.5 million signature threshold has been reached, but that they want an additional 400,000 signatures to prepare for verification.

That was too little, too late! Ronna is a terrible leader, she dances on the fence and should have repudiated her crazy Uncle Mitt, et al.. and made sure that Cheney was absolutely relieved of her command.

The best thing to happen in California is to recall a governor who has almost totally destroyed a once beautiful state.

Unfortunately we must deal with them one at a time.
Nancy’s district will never recall her. They may even vote her in after they bury her.
And Kam requires impeachment which can not succeed with the current make up of the Senate.

Hey, ronna, where have you been since November 3? You did NOTHING to help President Trump. As a lifelong Republican, I’m done with this corrupt party. You’re no better than the democrats…at least they tell you up front they’re going to screw you, republicans wait until they get your vote before they stab you in the back. Shameless…McConnell, Graham, McCarthy just to name a few. They’ve fooled their supporters for years, NO MORE! I say vote them all out when they’re up for re-election.

My understanding is that Ronna cannot personally stand for any one candidate. She stands only for the party. You are correct in saying the party is corrupt but what does that say for the rest of us. Those in office are the corrupt ones. They are however more moral than the dems and I will never support any dem for any reason. I do take my vote choice very seriously. I check out the candidate and watch what they say and do. If they don’t follow what I stand on they are going to be out the next voting season. They hear from me and yes I have a place in my party that I can say and do and get things done. I am a citizen but I also am a precinct committee chairwoman. We have a lot of say as what office holders get on the ballot and stay in office. We know how to talk to others about what is happening. We had enough say that one of the house reps left office after he voted with the dems. Keep your eyes open and get involved.

W — I disagree with you saying the repubs are “more moral than the demoTRASH” — they are not !!! They abandoned Trump when they should have been “all guns facing forward”. Many and I mean many not just the 7 dirtbags who voted with the trash to impeach Trump, stabbed him in the back when they should have been up front leading the charge — instead — I believe they were part of the plot to get rid of Trump. I suggest — you are the one who needs to keep their eyes open — YOU AND YOUR PARTY FAILED THE BEST PRESIDENT WE HAVE HAD IN OVER 100 YEARS !!!!

California political make-up is so overwhelmingly corrupt that whatever the actual outcome of the voting, it will never come to the recall of this totally self-centered and inept excuse for a governor, because he will be protected by his family who run the state from the back room. He provides finances and free state services to the huge number of illegal immigrants in California as well. They are allowed to vote because the state gave them a driver’s license and all licensed people can vote in California. Therefore, in fear of losing everything given to them by California’s crooked leader, he will probably not be voted out of office. Case closed.

Im sorry but Biden has nothing to say or do about the peoples choice for Governor in any state. Jen Psaki in front of the entire world called Newsom = FORMER GOVERNOR NEWSOM? Wishful thinking for the taxpayers in California. I have never seen so many ignorant people in a circle jerk in my entire life.

that Jen Psaki is a total air head and doesn’t have a clue about what she says. She is a lot like Biden, can’t even read a script right. What ever happened to speaking with out a script? But one would have to have a brain to do that, and it appears to me no one in the democrat party has a whole brain.
