Fox News has hired the co-founder of a renowned conservative publication as a contributor to its media platforms. He will host a new podcast for Fox and appear on-air.

RNC Makes Big Donation to Gov. Newsom Recall Effort

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has pledged $250,000 to the California Republican Party to help in the effort to oust California Gov. Gavin Newsom from office. The effort to hold a vote which could kick Newsom out of office is a direct response to his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic in the Golden State.

It was recently reported that the group leading the effort to recall Newsom has reached the threshold of signatures required to demand a vote. However, the group hopes to hit 2 million signatures in the coming weeks to offset the invalid signatures.

Biden Nixes Trump-era Emergency Order

President Biden has ended the Trump-era emergency order used to construct the southern border wall. In 2019, trump declared a national emergency at the border which helped to loosen the limits of taxpayer funding on the wall. This is the latest move by the Biden administration to rescind Trump-era policies related to immigration.

Trump Gives Thanks After Impeachment 

Former President Donald Trump vowed that the United States will soon be hearing more from him after he was acquitted on one impeachment article.

“My deepest thanks as well to all of the United States Senators and Members of Congress who stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country,” Trump said in a statement. “It is a sad commentary on our times that one political party in America is given a free pass to denigrate the rule of law, defame law enforcement, cheer mobs, excuse rioters, and transform justice into a tool of political vengeance, and persecute, blacklist, cancel and suppress all people and viewpoints with whom or which they disagree.”

 Former Republican Officials Look to Form Third Party

Over 120 former Republican officials engaged in a discussion last week to form a new political party based on a platform of “principled conservatism.”

The discussions included former officials from the Reagan, Trump, and Bush regimes, GOP consultants, former ambassadors, and even some former GOP elected officials.

The movement is being led by none other than Evan McMullin who ran President in 2016 as an independent. Prior to his run, he served as the chief policy director for the House Republican Conference.
