Florida’s Rick Scott also recently traveled to Trump’s resort for a meeting with the former president. The two Republicans discussed how the Republican Party can win back majorities in the House and Senate and how Trump can help influence the party.

Sen. Scott tweeted, “Great meeting with President Trump last night! We are all focused on winning back the Senate majority in 2022 and saving our country from the radical policies of today’s Democrat party.”
