Former President Trump took some time out of a wedding toast to blast President Biden, specifically the crisis on the border and recent meeting with Chinese officials. The video of Trump at John and Megan Arrigo’s wedding in Mar-a-Lago was first obtained by TMZ. Trump has repeatedly called out Biden’s poor leadership over the past weeks, especially his creation of the southern border crisis by rescinding Trump-era immigration policies.

The Hill reports:

“I’ve been watching the news and they’re telling me about the border, they’re telling me about China,” Trump says in the video. “The border is not good. And what you see now, multiply it times 10.”

“What’s happening to the kids … they’re living in squalor. They’re living like nobody has ever seen,” a tuxedo-clad Trump is seen saying on the video. “Look, it’s a disaster. It’s a humanitarian disaster from their standpoint and it’s going to destroy the country and, frankly, the country can’t afford it.”

Trump made immigration reform a pillar of his 2016 presidential campaign and throughout his presidency, promising to “build a wall” along the southern border and dismantle programs leading to a pathway to citizenship for millions of people living illegally in the country.

Biden has said his administration wants to provide a legal pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented people in America.

Trump recently blasted a meeting between Chinese officials and Biden’s Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. The meeting went off the rails when Chinese officials said the U.S. is having issues combating racism and issues within the country. Trump criticized that he was never spoken to in the same manner, calling the exchange a national embarrassment.
