Public Charge Rule

President Biden is facing a lawsuit for repealing Trump’s “public charge” rule. The rule made it more difficult for immigrants who would be reliant on government welfare programs to obtain green cards. A coalition of 11 led by Arizona Attorney Mark General Brnovich defended the rule. “It is unconscionable to overwhelm our infrastructure and immigration personnel when we are dealing with the health and economic devastation of the pandemic,” Brnovich told reporters.
