House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney is on thin ice with her Republican colleagues as they move to oust her from her leadership role. Republicans have become increasingly frustrated with the Wyoming Representative over her repeated comments about former President Trump and her lack of focus in trying to unite the party to win back the House. While Cheney survived attempts to oust her from the role in February over her vote to impeach Trump it seems the GOP has finally reached a breaking point. Republicans have already begun voicing their support for New York Rep. Elise Stefanik to fill Cheney’s role as House GOP Conference Chair.
