Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell signaled that he opposes the current piece of legislation that would establish an independent body to investigate the events surrounding the Jan. 6th riot. Prior to Senate GOP Leader McConnell noting his opposition House GOP Leader McCarthy also said he opposed the bill because Speaker Pelosi refused to negotiate in good faith.
