During an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, Vice President Harris falsely claimed she’s already been to the border. However, it’s now been over 75 days since President Biden tapped his VP to lead the response to the border crisis and no, she has not been herself. Instead of actually seeing the crisis the Biden administration has created instead firsthand she’s attempted to place the blame everywhere but squarely on her and Biden’s shoulders.
In the interview, Harris tells Holt “we’ve been to the border” repeatedly. However, Holt quickly corrects Harris saying she has not been to the border personally, the pushback clearly shocks her as she scrambles and laughs nervously while saying, “I haven’t been to Europe either, I don’t understand the point you’re making.”
Harris then quickly adds, “I’m not discounting the importance of the border” but it’s clear the damage has already been done. That is precisely what she is doing and has been doing for months.

The remark highlights what Americans have been suspecting for weeks, Harris is not taking her duties seriously and is simply ignoring the massive surge of migrants at the border. The comparison between visiting the border which has clearly reported being overwhelmed by the migrant surge with supporting data pointing to the highest numbers in 20 years and visiting Europe is enough to laugh out loud until you realize she’s being deadly serious.
Harris and the Biden administration have attempted to blame the border crisis on a number of factors ranging from the Trump administration to climate change to poor economies in Latin countries. However, despite the left-wing media trying to convince Americans- and world leaders that the Biden administration isn’t to blame nobody seems to be buying it.
Guatemala’s President Alejandro Giammattei told reporters that he believes the current administration’s border positive messaging is a major driving factor convincing immigrants to make the dangerous journey.
