Voting Against the “For The People” Act
Senator Joe Manchin revealed he plans to oppose Democrat’s election overhaul bill titled the For The People Act and the announcement lit a fire within the halls of the Senate. Democrats have accused Sen. Manchin of being pro Jim Crow because of his choice not to blindly follow his party into passing a disastrous election bill.
According to Deroy Murdock, on Sunday in the Charleston Gazette-Mail: “I will vote against the For the People Act,” and added about H.R. 1, “I believe that partisan voting legislation will destroy the already weakening binds of our democracy.”
