Pro-Trump supporter and businessman Michael Wasserman has accused his town of attempting to silence him for his political views and now he’s striking back and has filed a $25 million lawsuit against the city. The businessman is known for a plethora of pro-Trump stickers plastered on his car.

The Sun reports:

“I believe the city is trying to silence me because I’m pro-Trump,” he told the New York Post.

Howard M. Miller, a lawyer representing Long Beach, claims the case is not about politics saying that Wasserman’s vehicle violates an ordinance that prohibits signing within the perimeter of any public street or public property. Wasserman parks his vehicle in front of his home which is located on a public street.

“It’s not a political case. It’s not the contents of the message. it’s where he had it — it’s a public street.”

Wasserman is being represented by Victor Feraru, who describes himself as a “liberal Democrat.” Feraru says that the city is selectively enforcing Wasserman and discriminating against his political ideology,

“We wouldn’t be here if he were flying a Biden flag,” Feraru said.
