Photo id should be required to vote, not just a utility bill. Anyone can use anyone’s utility bill. I would go farther and use fingerprint id at polling place, no mail in voting, must vote in person, purge deceased from voter rolls, etc
I believe the utility bill was for purposes of registration, not voting. Photo I.D. should be required for voting, at no cost. But more is needed in the list.
My daughter suggested fingerprint ID for voting when things were in such a turmoil last November, Sara, and I thought it was a great idea. I haven’t heard, yet, that anybody has found a way to manipulate fingerprints. But no doubt there are some devious people who will try!
That is the same thing I thought, finger prints at registration and confirmed at voter precinct. Police depts. do it all the time fast and simple. Once in the system it will follow you everywhere you go and will verify your eligibility.

Pretty sure the Constitution states that voting laws are up to the states. A federal voting law is unconstitutional Of course, we never know what the Supreme Court is going to do these days. They don’t always go by the Constitution.

There were two counties in Nevada that recently made a Resolution and passed it into law, that they would NOT allow any Federal, or State Agents, to infringe on the Constitutional Rights of their Citizens. The article was in the Epoch Times. Elko County and Lander County, both passed the Resolution. The Resolution makes it a Crime for any Federal, or State Agent, if they attempt to impose any penalty on a Citizen of their Counties that is not within the framework of the Constitution. This also includes protecting your 2nd Amendment rights against illegal gun confiscation. Think it can’t happen? Guess again, they are going to try and take your ability to defend yourselves away from you. The Sheriffs and the Counties themselves, have also joined the CSPOA (Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association). This is significant because If we are going to take back this Country, from the Socialists that are trying to destroy it, we need to act and act NOW! We need to take it back County by County and State by State.
I sincerely hope that people here check this article out and what they are doing in Nevada.
