House Minority Whip Steve Scalise voted in favor of removing Confederate statues from Capitol grounds, shocking some Republicans. The Louisiana Representative was amongst the 67 other House Republicans who voted in favor of removing statues of figures like Robert E. Lee, Alexander Hamilton Stephens, Wade Hampton, amongst others.
