Sarah Maslin Nir, a writer for The New York Times, made sure to get a few jabs in on the 4th of July. Sarah Maslin Nir went after those who fly the American flag, Maslin Nir noted in her article that flying the American flag is often a clue to a person’s political views.
Maslin Nir would go on in her piece to claim that it was Trump who ruined the American flag by making it a partisan symbol.
Interestingly enough the left is rejecting the American flag and other symbols of the country regardless of who is in office.
