Loudoun County, Virginia
The battle started a few months ago when new policies were put into place regarding transgender bathrooms. Parents were upset that they got very little say in the matter and took to raiding school board meetings to complain about the new policies.
Things then got worse when the general public became aware of the CRT ideology being taught in school. It was soon revealed that a group of activists, parents, and teachers were conspiring to dox and harass anyone opposed to the teaching of CRT in schools.
After all this came to light parents started going to school board meetings to protest the ideology that was being taught in schools. In response to these protests and complaints teachers unions have begun denying the existence of these lessons that are already public knowledge.
While Loudon County is not the only area of the country that this is taking place it is certainly the area that has drawn the most attention.
