Pulled Out of the Paris Accords
Within the first six months of his presidency, President Trump pulled out of the one-sided Paris Climate Accords. The agreement ordered the U.S. to pay billions of dollars and President Trump quickly got the country out of the deal. However, it wouldn’t last because President Biden re-joined the deal within his first month in the White House.
