A coalition of House Republicans has introduced two articles of impeachment against President Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. David Chipman has yet to be confirmed by the Senate, making the move to impeach him even more shocking.
The resolution is being led by Montana Rep. Matt Rosendale while at least five Democrats remain on the fence over Chipman’s confirmation.

516844222-Rosendale-Resolution-Impeaching-David-Chipman“The confirmation of David Chipman to the ATF would be a direct threat to the second amendment rights of Americans and the rule of law,” Rosendale said in a statement about his impeachment resolution. “Not only has Chipman previously given false testimony to Congress, but his statements on gun-control are evidence that his confirmation would be a failure to support and defend our constitutional rights. If appointed, both are impeachable offenses and worthy of Congress to consider his removal.”
The impeachment resolution includes two articles, one alleging that Chipman has failed to “support and defend” the Second Amendment and thus the Constitution, and a second alleging that he lied to Congress when he denied allegations that he lost his service weapon as an ATF agent.
Senators have inquired whether Chipman ever lost his service weapon, and at least one staffer has said that their office has received information contradicting Chipman’s denials. But the claims that Chipman lost his service weapon are still unverified, and the ATF told Fox News previously that there is no record of Chipman ever losing track of his gun.

I read a post yesterday, which I’ve posted before along the same lines.
Our only hope is to take back the HOUSE and the SENATE. It will stop the current craziness coming from these two bodies, but, it will also neuter the O’biden administration flat on its tracks. I don’t want to hear about gridlock.
That’s exactly what we all should want.
Let’s hope that by Nov 2022, we have some semblance of a country to defend.
Yes, hopefully, some members of the House and Senate can find their backbone and stand up to the Marxists in this govt. And while your at it submit at least 10 Articles of Impeachment against Biden. No one seems interested in holding him accountable for anything. You may not get a Senate to vote for the impeachment but at least you make an effort and get it on the record. Come 2022 that could then be the time to get a conviction long overdue.

We cannot pray and remain the same. We cannot pray and have our homes remain the same. We cannot pray and have the world around us remain the same. God has decreed to act in response to prayer. He commands us to ask. And Satan trembles for fear we will.
We need to start where we are, as we are. We can start with whatever concerns us, with whatever is lying most heavily on our hearts, whatever is irritating or frustrating us. Be pointed. Be persistent. Be patient. But pray. The one answer is God.
