Trump Makes Endorsement for Texas Attorney General

Former President Trump has officially backed a candidate for attorney general of Texas. Monday evening Trump released a statement endorsing incumbent attorney general Ken Paxton for another term.

Trump said, “Attorney General Ken Paxton has been bravely on the front line in the fight for Texas, and America, against the vicious and very dangerous Radical Left Democrats, and the foolish and unsuspecting RINOs that are destroying our Country. Ken is strong on Crime, Border Security, the Second Amendment, Election Integrity and, above all, our Constitution. He loves our Military and our Vets. It is going to take a PATRIOT like Ken Paxton to advance America First policies in order to Make America Great Again. Ken has my Complete and Total Endorsement for another term as Attorney General of Texas. He is a true Texan who will keep Texas safe—and will never let you down!”

The Washington Examiner reports:

Bush, the Texas land commissioner, vowed to align himself with Trump despite vocal opposition from many in his family, including his father, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who sparred with then-candidate Trump during the 2016 presidential debates.

The younger Bush in late May tweeted a picture of himself on the phone with Trump, suggesting the two were discussing his plans to seek higher office.

Paxton has been a longtime supporter of Trump and filed a lawsuit last year challenging the former president’s election loss in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The U.S. Supreme Court ultimately tossed the case because Texas lacked enough standing to bring it to court.

The Texas attorney general is also under indictment for alleged securities fraud and is facing an inquiry by the FBI over alleged abuse of office.

In May, Trump said he liked both Republican candidates “very much” yet it seems Paxton’s loyalty finally paid off.

Dynasty candidates are not to be trusted. With the Bush family ties they will always have establishment ties and we can suspect some of them can pull a Bush candidate around even if he wanted to go a different path. It is what is known about his family by those in power not what they have on him.

Thank you, President Trump. We very much value the information you provide. We know we can not trust the media or the other elected politicians. They are all a bunch of corrupt sleaze bags.

Please keep us informed on who we can trust.

The Alphabet Agencies are after Paxton. Not surprised. They’re in with NWO plans and have been targeting strong conservatives. I’d never trust a Bush.

The Bush Dynasty has lost its luster. Jeb’s abysmal performance in the 2016 cycle seemed to wipe away all doubts that perhaps the Bush dynasty was better off retiring! It doesn’t surprise me at all that President Trump would reward Paxton’s loyalty with a stellar endorsement. Paxton was one of the few who immediately went to bat for the President after the debacle that was the 2020 election.

The Bush-fable permanently died when mama-bush passed away. She ruled that family…every single one of them. Obviously she thought they were not very bright.

If I see a headline with the word “shocking” one more time I’m going to get sick!

I agree. It would be shocking if Jeb’s son got the endorsement. Nothing shocking about this article.

Attorney General Ken Paxton and Lt, Governor Dan Patrick have been doing their jobs. Governor Abbott should be corralling these illegals who have Covid and stopping them from being transported throughout the country. The Biden Administration is just spreading Covid around the U.S. Again so they can maintain their power over the American people and take away their civil rights with masks and vaccines.

Please, no more Bushs, Kennedys, rockefellers, Clintons, Chaneys, Bidens, Pelosi.s or other swamp alligator shite in elected office. These are the people who are constantly getting us in bs wars in parts of the world no one cares about and building bridges to nowhere, trains to no where and throwing tax payer money away like the Dems are trying to do right now. Infrastructure bill, what a friggin joke. It will wind up in the pockets of the Dems and Reps who voted for it.TERM LIMITS NOW.

Sally Kent, I think you made an error by saying ”  endorsing incumbent Governor Ken Paxton for another term.” Ken Paxton is not the governor.
