North Dakota Senator John Hoeven was one of the 17 Republicans that voted to begin debate on Biden’s infrastructure bill. The bill is an alternative to Biden’s wildly expensive and unpopular American Jobs Act. Biden’s initial proposal gave funding to industries unrelated to infrastructure such as healthcare and education.
